BIGGEST DECEIVING GAME FOR LAST WEEK (WEEK 7)

NY JETS 16 – DENVER BRONCOS 9

Note: In this game Denver outgained the Jets (324-260) total yards and had gigantic First Down advantage (21-10) and ran 24 more plays too (74-50). Denver held the Jets to just (3-14) on third downs and had (33-27) time of possession ADV.  The Broncos D had one bad play – allowing Jets RB Hall to run for a 62 yard dash they led to Jets only TD. The Jets also won having 11 penalties. Insane stats differences. Look the reason Denver loses it has the worst HC in the league and worst play caller (same moron) – as every time a huge play call is needed…he never delivers – short yardage or long needed – never matters. He went for a home run bomb pass on a key 4th and 3 late. As par for Broncos season it didn’t work. End result another Loss and now by far worst Offense in the NFL.

REST OF GAMES

ARIZONA 42 – NEW ORLEANS 34

Cards win but really were dominated (as usual) by Saints who outgained them (494-326) and (25-21) first down  and (71-58) plays ADV. The Saints though as usual turned it over (3x) too often to get the win. Cards QB Murray simply isn’t even above average. He misses throws often and unless he scrambles he’s bad in pocket passing. The Saints Offense keeps piling up yards but they commit costly turnovers, penalties and miss FG’s which has caused what could be a winning record not to be. The Cards are very lucky now to have wins over Vegas and the Saints. They have 6 freaking points all season in the first quarter. It’s now 7 games. That’s pathetic. Again HC and Playcaller/Kingsbury are the  same guy….same moron who has no real idea what he’s doing and coming out flat 7 weeks in a row proves you are NEVER PREPARED!

CAROLINA 21 – TAMPA BAY 3

Shocker of the year as Panthers (+13) won by 18. But TB ran (65-49) plays and had (17-14) first down ADV. The Bucs were never in sync as right off bat star WR Evans dropped an easy TD pass right in his hands with nobody near him. Instead of fast (7-0) lead it was really start of another miserable day for the Bucs Offense. Brady is somewhat to blame but I’ve been saying since week 1 this Offensive Line is not last years. They have lost 3 starters and this OL now is really, really BAD. Even the greats can’t have huge success if OL is terrible. You add in that the Bucs simply never seem in sync on Offense. The Defense was not great either last week but it wasn’t brutal – forget final score as this was not that type of blowout. Carolina had one 60 rush (led to TD) and 4 pass completions of (20-29) yards. Brady was sacked only once (actually good for the way it’s gone all year so far). The Bucs punted 6 of first 7 drives and were stopped on downs the other drive. OUCH! There are lots of reasons the Bucs are spiraling but we now see same ole HC (Todd Bowles) as when he was a losing HC for the Jets. He always looks lost, shows little emotion but one of “shock” and never has this team pumped up at the start of the game. He makes no adjustments and it’s already clear now he’s in way over his head as HC. I like guy but it may be a one and done if racism doesn’t come into play. It’s also likely this is Brady’s last year. The run game is brutal (46 yards last week on a 2.9 yard rush avg). The OL opens no holes and the RB’s just look slow and hesitant. Do NOT place Carolina in “STOCK UP” territory. They are a really bad roster overall and will look bad 75% of their final games due to the bad roster.

BALTIMORE 23 – CLEVELAND 20

Once again the Browns found a way to give a game away. It’s not a shock as like the Cards the HC Stefanski (also Playcaller) simply is awful. This though was another bad (and lucky) win by the Ravens (who tried their best to blow a fourth second half lead of double digits). I am not a fan of Ravens QB Jackson and again he missed wide open receivers. The Browns gave the game away (normal now for them) with a QB fumble allowing a short 25 yard Ravens TD drive early and then late with great chance to TIE the game they get a rare Offensive Pass Interference call against their best WR and then another false start before the FG try. Those 2 penalties turned out to be disastrous as they moved a 40 yard FG try to 60. End result a blocked FG and another heartbreaking Loss for the Dawg Pound fans. Ravens won but they really showed me very little all year than being solid on Defense on first drives by their Opponents (only 1 TD so far – ironically it was this game).
