WEEK 2 NFL FULL REPORT

GARY’S EXTRA POINTS:
Well folks once again Kirk “NEVER WON” Cousins imploded on Prime Time MNF T.V. again!
It’s only 2 weeks, but I am very concerned about the Bengals and Indy. I fully expected Carolina and Tennessee to start slow due to new QB and Titans breaking in young receiver group.
For those of you with a favorite team now (0-2), I hate to break the bad news, but last season not one team that started (0-2) made the Playoffs.
The Rams have turned the ball over 3x both weeks and Offensive Line is simply not getting any push to help Run game nor help pass block that long. The Rams are lucky to be (1-1).
The Bengals Offensive Line is once again atrocious and soon QB Burrow will be living in a Nursing Home.
Denver continues to struggle in the Red Zone. In week 2 vs. Houston they had ball in Red Zone four times and didn’t score a TD. They continue to commit penalties (25 on year)! They have now failed to score a TD on 6 Red Zone trips in two weeks.
I am extremely high on Detroit due to the Offensive Line is Top 3 in NFL so far to me and they truly have lots of great weapons. Goff is still to me average, but it proves that in the NFL, if you give the QB time, they can all excel.
For the doubters on Washington QB Wentz and Miami QB Tua Tags so far you look really stupid. Both have tons of great weapons to throw too and speed kills and both have it in their Receiving Corps. I will add the Redskins get zero from starting RB Gibson. He rarely ever get over 4 yards in any carry. Had RB Robinson not got shot this Commanders Offense would be fully loaded (although they did lose Starting Center Roulier for season in Game 2 that may hurt).
Many folks over rate Head Coaches and one of the worst ever is Washington HC Rivera. He has no clue, makes no in game adjustments and for 3rd straight year has worst Special Teams. Last week all but one time the Commanders returned a kickoff to the 16 yard line, going further than the free 25 yard line once. There is no way you can win in this league being a complete moron as a Head Coach. And for all the joyful Raiders fans who thought you get the next “BIG THING” with your HC hire of Josh McDaniel…you got punked. Like in Denver the job is too big for him as Head Coach.
Indy HC Reich is doing his best to be first HC Fired. It looked like a race between Carolina HC Ruhle and Arizona HC Kingsbury. Well awful Kingsbury got a miracle win (and possible Job Saved in process) but Reich simply making terrible decisions and off last year’s terrible collapse he needs to start winning fast. As for the Broncos new HC Hackett, well folks so far you got the worst decision maker for a Head Coach thus far. Each drive I watch I say this can’t get worse but somehow it does. He has Russell Wilson at QB and a fantastic group of WR’s and 2 very solid RB’s. This Broncos team is totally unprepared for Game Days.
I love the Falcons Offense and don’t let (0-2) fool you. This Offense has some weapons and will score plenty of points. I though am not high at all on the Patriots Offense (wasn’t coming into season) nor the Steelers Offense that calls the plays so scared it’s going to be hard for QB Trubisky to get into any rhythm and having a terrible Offensive line and a young QB Pickett waiting in wings won’t help either with worry of making a big mistake. The Jets play to win, the Steelers play “NOT TO LOSE”. The Panthers Offense is another one in really big trouble. They are not in any sync and running only 46 and 52 plays (total of 98) and putting Defense on field for 73 and 67 plays (140 total) is going to exhaust the Defense by mid season.
Last the teams playing this season relaxed and fully focused compared to total opposite last year, Miami and NY Giants, the HC Changes have made a world of difference and it’s showing on the field. Both now are really prepared. Both love the Head Coach. The Dolphins have tons more weapons to work with, but last year both would never be (2-0) with the former Head Coaches running the show. Gotta give both props as it can take 2 years to get a team to “buy in”. Clearly both already have.
Seattle Offense has no basically had 6 straight quarters of complete struggles. Not one point generated by the Offense (only score was a blocked FG for a TD). Ouch! Running only 47 and 45 plays and having Defense on field 62 and 69 will be another team where Defense is out of gas at midseason if this keeps up.
Last the Bengals….wow (0-2) and beaten by bottom feeder Pittsburgh’s weak Offense and then Dallas with a backup QB. Playing the 6th hardest schedule and starting in (0-2) hole is definitely going to be an uphill battle now if Offensive Line (allowed 13 Burrow Sacks so far) doesn’t improve fast. Burrow has zero time to pass ball. Burrow claims “nobody is panicking”. He is LYING. After the @ Jets this week, its Miami, @ Baltimore and @ Saints. That makes this Jets game a “MUST WIN” game in just Week 3. And bad part facing Jets is they have nothing to lose. The Jets outplayed Baltimore in Week 1 loss (76 plays to 51) and last week ran (75 plays to 64) for the Browns. This Jets Offense moves the ball….moves the chains and nearly 800 total yards of Offense in first 2 games and they are no gimme win right now for struggling badly Bengals team.
TEAMS WHO WON TURNING THE BALL OVER 3x or more: New England, LA Rams
TEAMS WHO LOST GAME STRAIGHT UP BUT WON TOTAL YARDAGE BATTLE:
(*DECEIVING FINAL SCORES)
1). LA CHARGERS – Outgained KC (401-319) total yards. LAC ran (72-53) plays advantage.
2). CLEVELAND: Barely outgained the NY Jets (405-402). Cleveland could’ve won game if RB Chubb knelt at the one yard line and didn’t score late TD (he did it being a moron and the HC and staff morons not telling him to kneel if he got close to scoring).
3). NEW ORLEANS: Outgained Tampa Bay (308-260) but 5 Saints turnovers killed any chance to win this game. Tampa Bay’s Offense really only put 13 points on the scoreboard. They got 7 points on a Pick-6 Touchdown.
TOTAL YARDS AHEAD IN WEEK 2: BUFFALO (+227), PHILLY (+222), GREEN BAY (+196)
BAD BEATS (WEEK 2):
Vegas allowing TD on final play of regulation cost the ATS cover. Cleveland lost a Moneyline bet in final seconds and (-6 1/2) bet too after RB Chubb scored very late TD to go ahead 13 (team missed Extra Point after) giving Jets a chance, rather than Cleveland (Chubb) just kneeling on the ball and run the clock out and win by 7. For many bettors the “Total” bet in Arizona/Vegas game changed from “Under” to “Over” due to the 6 points scored in OT.
HIGHEST TOTAL YARDS GAINED:

“SPECIAL NOTES” to watch for from Week 1 and 2 Combined:
1). NY JETS: Have now passed ball an insane 59x and 45x for 104 total passed thrown.
2). CHICAGO BEARS: Have only passed ball 17x and 11x for a total of only 28x passes thrown.
3). PHILLY EAGLES/BUFFALO BILLS: Only 2 teams to gain over 400+ Total yards both weeks so far.
4). WASHINGTON QB WENTZ: Only QB to pass for over 300+ Passing yards both weeks.
5). CHICAGO BEARS: Only have a combined 26 First Downs this season!
6). EVERY TEAM has now committed a Turnover this season.
ELITE QB’S WHO ARE REALLY STRUGGLING:
1). LA RAMS QB STAFFORD: Thrown 5 Int’s/Sacked 8x/Team has 6 Turnovers this season!
2). INDY COLTS QB RYAN: Thrown 4 Int’s/Team has 5 Turnovers this season!
3). CINCI QB BURROW: Thrown 4 Int’s/Sacked 13x/Team has 5 Turnovers this season!
DEFENSES WITH POSSIBLE “TIRED LEGS”:
(*OFF WEEK 2 GAMES LAST WEEK)
1). LAS VEGAS RAIDERS: On field most plays in Week 2 (77)
2). CLEVELAND BROWNS: On field second most plays in Week 2 (75)
3). KANSAS CITY CHIEFS: On field third most plays in Week 2 (72) – but they have 3 extra days rest before Week 3.
DEFENSES WITH “TIRED LEGS” FOR THE SEASON COMBINED AFTER 2 GAMES:
1). PITTSBURGH DEFENSE: On field a staggering (142) plays so far this season.
2). CAROLINA DEFENSE: On field league second most (139) plays so far.
3). LAS VEGAS DEFENSE: On field (132) plays so far.
4). SEATTLE DEFENSE: On field (131) plays so far.
MOST RESTED DEFENSES SO FAR:
1). SAN FRANCISCO DEFENSE: On field only 99 plays this season (54 in Week 1 and only 45 plays last week)!
2). LA CHARGERS DEFENSE: On field only 103 plays this season (50 in Week 1 and only 53 plays last week)!
3). MIAMI DEFENSE: On field only 106 plays this season (52 in Week 1 and 54 plays last week)!
INTERESTING NOTES TO KNOW:
1). WASHINGTON COMMANDERS: In Week 2 Loss to Detroit, they had only one First Down in the first half but ended up still running 9 more plays than the Lions did (67-58).
2). NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS: Although they did win Week 2 over the Steelers the Offense really did little. A bomb very late in first half for a TD and then a TD scored thanks to the Steelers muffing a Punt in the Red Zone led to their second TD on a short field after only mustering a FG in Week 1 loss to Miami.
3). NY GIANTS QB JONES: The team is a surprising (2-0) but Jones has only passed for 156 and 162 Passing Yards.
4). No team in Week 2 that lost the Turnover battle won straight up (Bills, Wash., NYG did in Week 1).
5). LA RAMS: Have rushed for only 52 and 65 yards the first 2 games.
6). TAMPA BAY QB TOM BRADY: Has not even had a 200+ yard pass game yet (195 & 188).
7). CAROLINA DEFENSE: Only team without a Turnover so far thru 2 Weeks yet they are #1 with allowing the shortest pass so far: (24 yards is the longest pass they have allowed so far).
8). TWO SUPPOSEDLY GOOD “SACK” DEFENSES STRUGGLING TO GET SACKS THRU FIRST 2 GAMES:
A). LAS VEGAS RAIDERS & NEW ORLEANS SAINTS: (*Only 1 Sack each thru 2 games).
