NOTE: Right now Lance Lynn of the White Sox is one of the 5 best Pitchers in MLB the past month or so. His four seamer is missing bats often and his cutter is nasty. His control has been flawless. He has 40K’s and only 4 Walks his past 5 starts combined.
Lynn has had five straight Quality starts going 6, 7, 7, 6, and 5.2 innings allowing 0, 0, 1, 1, 1 earned runs and he’s not allowed an earned run his past 13 innings and only 1 earned run his past 20 innings and his WHIP is an off the charts (0.62) his last 4 games. Nobody is hitting him and nobody is getting on base. Now he faces a guy (Gaddis) with one MLB start in August where he got bombed. He allowed 8 earned runs in just 3.1 innings.
I fully expect another spectacular pitching performance by Lynn and expect the Sox bats to beat up on Gaddis and easily give Lynn all cushion he needs for another “W” today.
