Note: I have loved Blackburn all season with his only downfall he doesn’t go deep into games. He’s basically been a 5 innings per start Starting Pitcher. He is (4-0) with superb (1.91) ERA, allowing only 1 homer all season and 34K’s to just 7 walks. His whip (0.99) keeps him away from big innings. His last 18 innings have been nearly perfect with a very small (1.50) ERA. He has been rock solid on Road as well with most of his starts on the Road. In five Road starts he’s allowed only (2, 0, 0, 2, 0) earned runs. Again he’s pitched (26.1) innings so he’s averaging just over 5 innings per start. Hence this is why we are taking the (FIRST 5 INNINGS ONLY – With Blackburn vs Ray as the Starters).
