1). MIAMI DOLPHINS: Lost last week to Minny (24-16). It’s most deceiving Box score of the week as the Dolphins outgained the Vikings (458-234) total yards, had insane (23-11) First Down advantage, and ran (67-47) total plays advantage. In end it was 3 huge costly Turnovers that was the difference. Minny looked awful and their secondary is a big problem.
2). CHICAGO BEARS: Lost last week to Washington (12-7) but outgained them (392-214) and had (64-50) total plays and (20-14) first down advantages. Not scoring twice inside the 5 yard line cost them the win.
3). NEW ORLEANS: Lost to Cinci (30-26) but outgained them (399-348) total yards and ran 19 more plays (70-51) but allowed a late TD (3 broken tackles by Bengals WR Chase) and lost another heartbreaker.
4). TAMPA BAY: Lost to Pittsburgh (20-18) last week but outgained them (304-270). Dropped passes and Bad OL play and costly penalties was difference as Pitt Offense didn’t really move the ball (only 2.7 yards) per carry and (270) total yards the entire game.
5). SAN FRAN NINERS: Lost (28-14) to Atlanta but outgained them (346-289) in total yards. An early Fumble and recovery by Falcons for a TD changed game early and then two more SF turnovers and a 16 play drive that ended with failed 4th and 2 later in game….along with SF unable to stop Atlanta Run game (40 rushes – 168 total rush yards) and that was just too much to overcome for the Niners.
6). ARIZONA CARDS: Lost (19-9) to Seattle but outgained them (315-296). The sole difference in this game was Arizona failing to score 3x after getting into the Seattle 20-30 yard area. Arizona was stopped on downs 3x, once after 14 play drive at Seattle 20, then after 9 play drive at Seattle 28 and then once more after 8 plays at Seattle 23. One note to add Seattle Defense only allowed 3 points, as the other 6 Cardinals points came off a fumble recovery TD in the End Zone.
7). DALLAS COWBOYS: Lost to Eagles on MNF (26-17) but outgained them (315-268) – it was 3 costly turnovers that made the difference as the Dallas Defense did it’s job against Hurts and Company holding them to just 268) total yards.
